I am a bird 🦅

I haven’t got a clue where I am going to and I do not even care

North, south, east or west..whichever way the wind blows

Going around in circles, caught up in those thermal air flows

Where I lovingly look down to the earth below

As I shiver amidst yon silence of the falling snow

Symmetrical shapes are dancing in the breeze

Whilst a gentle gust of fresh air takes my breath away as I exhale a wheeze

Aww I feel so invigorated and fantastically alive

Rising high above the heavenly skies I can duck and dive

Oh if only I could stay up here for evermore

With my wonderful wings I would flap then soar

Where my body is a bird and covered in fine, fragile feathers
