I am just a scaredy cat ?

In the dimness of a darkened room a candlelight glows
Creating such an eerie ambience 
as the flickering flame flows Shadowy silhouettes slither up and down the wall
Such candlelit creepiness conjures
images of appall
I see Werewolves, Monsters
are they really there ?
Tho I try utmost not to eyeball 
amidst my hazy glare

I hate this haunted house 
I hear the creaking and the groans
Northerly winds are blowing 
throughout the corridors making mournful moans
There is no electricity to brighten up this night
as I hold on to my lit up torch with shaky hands in fright
It takes alot to spook me but I am absolutely terrified
I am stuck inside this gloominess without a niche to hide

“Okay you crazy imagination get yourself a grip”
Yes I am in an old archeticture of amazing creative craftmanship
So only for a minute or maybe’s two
I consentrate on why I am here
‘To test and tantilize my senses without feeling any fear’
I realise I am just a scaredy cat
tho I’ve known this all along
and challenging my self control was totally wrong
I lift the huge heavy brass handle and I open the door and run..
Alas this experience will be memorable but certainly never fun..
