Poem -

I am not a city girl

I am not a city girl

I have been to the busyness but I am not a city girl
Where one is just a number with everything in a whirl
Like bees buzzing in a honeycomb
each and everyone on a mission
yet totally solitary in one’s own volition
I detest the hustle bustle with the racket and the din
Making me muddled up with my head in a spin

Tho there are times when I need to go to the city
I have to leave my green countryside where the hills are so pretty
Psyching myself up as I am driving in my car
Urbanization is only an hour away so it isn’t very far
but Oh my God it is world’s apart from my homeland
Infact it is the crowds of people that I cannot stand

People in a frenzy toing and froing
not one of them is interested where each other are going
What a strange way to live one’s daily life
Constantly queuing nose to tail within other folk’s strife
Thank goodness I am safely back home
As I revitalise and relax writing this little poem

A Lonely Journey

Hey Jillian!
I've missed you! I enjoyed that as I always enjoy your writing. You never stop, and it's great!
You know, I live pretty close to NYC, and I just love going there sometimes. It's like this giant, crazy, mass of humanity, and craziness, and you can lose yourself, and observe the different oddities of life, and people. Living in the city, I'm not sure, but I like your attitude.
Nice write, Country Girl.

Hugs,

Matthew.

Thank you Jillian!
Hey, did you know that you're really a cool, nice, friendly, intelligent person? I thought you might not be aware, so I would just pass that on. You make this place a great deal of fun. Our whole, great group. You, Cheerie, Marionette, Gregor, etc. I miss you, butt will be back.
Matthew.

PS. I think I just ate a worm. I was enjoying a nice pasta dish, when I looked at the package and it said Wormecelli, instead of Vermicelli. It was pretty good though. Thanks. M.

Being Me

I am not a city girl either. I live close to London but hardly ever go there. I prefer to spend my time walking on green grass beneath the trees...at the moment though it is all mud and water and I am squelching and splashing through it daily, usually with a horse in tow (or if I am with the dog he is towing me through it)  x  ???
