I Am Priceless

Inspired By Rose Sho’s Poem “Self Worth”

Mirror, mirror on the wall

Who’s the fairest of them all?

Show a reflection from within my heart

That will boost my ego to then restart

For lately I have not felt at ease

Thinking haughty people I had to please

They laughed and said my nose was big

And hurt my feelings with their vicious digs

But now I’ve come to realize

That inner beauty is the true prize

And I have much of it to share with all

So your insults now on dead ears fall

You are the ones so ugly true

Because the one you hate is really you

So you aspersions on humanity

For as beautiful as them, you will never be!
