Our Bengal is resourceful, rich in rice, veggies, and wheat
Lives on milk, bread, rice curry, sweets, fruits, fish, and meat
It is India’s one of the artistic, cultural and intellectual centers
Produces brain powers, great personalities, and innovators
Cultivation is the main livelihood besides some enterprises
Of small and medium-sized Jute, cotton textiles, and business 
People are of various community, religion, caste, and creed
But no violation, no enmity, exists a beautiful harmony indeed
Celebrate various religious, social, cultural functions, festivals
Durga Puja, Diwali, Holy, Id, Muharram, Christmas with all
It is tranquil, wonderful, peaceful, beautiful great and grand
Unity among diversity is praiseworthy in the society of our land
We share our happiness and sorrow, together we live and love
We love our country; love our citizens, altogether we grow up
