I am running out of you

I have arrived alone
to this afternoon
there are hardly any flowers
the daylight is waning
the leaves have begun to fall
from the trees
the rising tide pulls your ship away
from my dock
I've started to feel cold
I'm running out of you
perhaps I'm not who I used to be or
I fear that I'm losing you and
I don't know how to stop
the rapturous wind
