I am too Small to Understand it All

I am too Small to Understand it All

I do not know how to love just a little
as I do not know how to feel life part-time
so, let me be eloquent
even if I don’t understand
life’s mysterious eyes.
I efface from my mind
all life’s pain and cruelty,
and the moments she offers joy,
I don’t see chaos but truth and beauty.
Ah, love for life cannot be contained
nor can the fervent heart’s flame
that holds passion and grace!
When the evening falls I let my wings go
into the vastness of the heights
at the time night weaves her ebony cloak
to offer comfort away from the bright.
She tells it’s all right to love
what we cannot understand,
for, it’s in mystery life herself presents.

I suspect you are the glass half full type B
... you see beauty where others see grey.
