Poem -

I Beg of Thee

Let me start by saying I'm sorry
I'm sorry for the long nights
I'm sorry for the early mornings
I'm sorry for the clinginess that meant nothing to you
I'm sorry for the broken girl so frail and weak
I'm sorry for the violent texts and mixed emotions
I'm sorry I beg of thee
Please look upon me and still grace me with dignity
I am not poverty stricken or beaten everyday
I know nothing about love and nothing about warmth
I was left out as a child
Kept with frozen hearts
So I beg of thee look upon me as a person and not some obsessed chick
I crave your emotion and love and use drugs to soothe the pain
I will never know your touch but you now know my sorrow
You might not remember this but remember me
I will never write you if you beg of me oblivion is my only fear let it be known I beg of thee
