Poem -

I can see a light

I can see a light

I am amidst an enclosed tunnel

But I can see a light at the end of the funnel

So as I cringe crawling curiously along

I sing myself an uplifting cheerful song

Music is my inspiration so important to me

Lifting my spiritual anxiety
“Cry my a river” and “Young hearts run free”

I am singing my soul out happily

When one is in a mindfulness of lost and blue

Sing yourself a song
It’s so easy to do

It doesn’t matter if you don’t know the words

Just “Dee dee la dee da” like the chirping birds

Instantly you will roll those dark clouds away

Ridding your doubt and dismal dismay

Music is a melodious way to pray

It definitely beats being down-in-the-doldrums any day…
