I caught the final words

Free

I caught the final words

Walking home in a shady bottle
Sunday morning is my crown
last night it was a hollow delight
alive again on the concrete conversation
carrying my soul intended
flooded grins
staring within the bowls
glassy eyed the dead twitching

take a swig
sitting down on the stampeders hunting ground
the cards dealt
no winners cheer
take the rest  she will appear

forty years of wandering
wondering for forty years
hand held in spectre,queen,and clown
they never caught you ragged one

feasted fatherless faulted laugh
secrets known
but drank so fast

they never caught you
ragged one?
