Poem -

As I cradle you my baby

As I cradle you my baby,
Into my eyes you look,
Searching for the love you need.
I'ts in the heart you took.

As I cradle you my baby,
I kiss your soft pink skin,
I feel the rush of love I have for you
Hit my heart within.

As I cradle you my baby,
I watch you gently sleep,
Overcome with pride and love
I silently begin to weep.

As I cradle you my baby,
I think of the life you have ahead,
Playing with friends, meeting people
And one day getting wed.

As I cradle you my baby,
I think of what you have given me,
The gift of motherhood and endless love
Some people cannot see.
