I Cried

The nights that I laid in the bed at night

I cried

The nights I wished that you would hold me tight

I cried

The nights that you walked out of my life

I cried

I allowed you to come back knowing that it wouldn’t be right

But hell I was willing to put up a fight

I cried

All the sleepless nights, the fuss, and the fights

I cried

You made me a promise and that was to make me your wife

But I realized that you were a waste of my life

I cried

I thought you were my lover and friend

But it turned out you were like that mouse named Ben

Sneaky as hell sleeping around with my friend

I cried

Stupidity lead me right back to you again

I cried

And asked myself would this ever come to an end.
