Poem -

I Didn't Know I Was Fat

Inhabiting my world is me, it's all I see
The clothes I wear, I don't share
I eat for me, and fill the world I see
What I do makes me happy
My world and me it's what I see

Disturbances come from outside
My reflection is still my guide
I don't see what they do when I check with you
I am happy as I am, so why should I give a damn

Disturbances outside becoming my guide
Slowly my reflection changes
We're not the same since they came
"Have you lost weight?" One says, "I don't know", is my reply
Checking with my reflection what do they see?
Now I can't see me
