I Die the Death

I die the death, a sullen trance, a phantom birth, a devil’s
Dance. For ghost to heart, a force aflame, a constant war, a
Psyche slain. And ferric fate, a touch of joy, a wellic wave,
The woes of troy. But dead alive, a forest grave, the myth
Of love, an omen’s cave. My cynic heart, a need to flail,
Aflight a star, a tragic tale. And soul to blood, an attic spear,
A mystic pulse, a cultic ear. For telic pain, a silent voice, a
Winter flame, a cryptic hoist.
I die the death, a sullen trance, a phantom birth, a devil’s
Dance. For spirit wave, a psychic wraith, a heart to bleed, a
Garret face. And fallin’ prayer, a lighted dove, a fountain
Flood, a physic love. But bolt to earth, a volt aflare, a
Steady sea, a mystic air. And ferric fate, a touch of joy, a
Wellic wave, the woes of troy.  Â
