Poem -

I Dipped My Toes, You Went Head Under

I asked you to please take me home-
You drove us into the sea.
When I was swimming away
You weren't following me.
You'd gone home to the sea-
Felt so real for a dream.

You were saying to me

If only to wash over
The pale palette
Of wakeful noise
And bare-all brightness
With the splendor
And bliss
Of silence and dreams-
Take me under;
Put me out.
There's nothing else.

If it's a recurring dream this would be one that holds a very important message...

Great write!
