I Dream Repost
I dream
That one day
My sister will sing her heart out
For the ones who cannot speak for themselves
Because they are afraid
They will be silenced
I dream
That one day
My brother will play like he was born with the ability
For the ones who were born without the ability
That they could do greater things
Than sit and wait for the world to end
My sister tells me there is darkness in all, but there is also light
In all of us
My brother tells me the compass will sew a broken heart together
Like it was never damaged
I dream
That the bond is broken by the people
The people we sang and played for
I dream
That no longer are we the family that we once were
I dream, and I tremble
For these dreams take pieces from me
Pieces that are good
Pieces that were treasured
Pieces that meant something
To me, my sister, and brother
And like a broken window
I am replaced by darkness
They split my heart in half
With evil in their eyes watching, laughing, beating
I lay there, cold and bruised
I sleep; it is the only thing I can do that doesn’t hurt
I dream
That there is no hope
As I cry out for help
I dream
That my family abandoned me
Because I am rancorous, and am better off dead
I dream
And I quiver
As I escape the dream, and in the darkness
I look
My eyes fill with tears as I watch
My sister holds the light for my brother
Who sews my broken heart
Like it was never broken

Oh my gosh, thank you!
this is a sentimental and thus touching poem. I wish for your dreams to come true.
Thank you. Slowly but surely they are.
