I Hate You

Wow this is great TAMARA!!....the agony of defeat!!.....and the power of Love all wrapped up in one VERY powerful piece of poetic phrasing!!......ALL STARS!! & PINNED!!......well conceived and BEAUTIFULLY delivered!!.....LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo  : )

Hi, Tamara, strong stuff, love the split between hate and love. Reminds me mucht of 1986 when I met a girl at University (Amsterdam) I could talk to for hours (first once a week, then every day...) but instead of thinking hating the thought I could be in love I blocked everything out (as did she)... In the end the owner of a café where we used to  have a drink after class asked whether we were involved or no... a few months later we organised our wedding reception there and 34 years later we are still going strong... After we came out of the closet, so to speak, it appeared that the whole English literature department had been waiting for like five months or so for something to happen... Love will win and is not a thing to fight.

I think us poets can all relate.  But Tamara, what I really wanted to comment on was the awesome structure in this work! How each pair of lines flows into the next is absolutely phenomenal. Peace to you! Please keep writing, your work is fantastic!
