Poem -

I Just Can't Break Away

May.22.1997/October.26.1998 10:08 pm

You ever have a feeling
Like you're not there
To you your life has no meaning
And your words no one can hear
You no one can understand
No one understands your fear
No one will offer you a hand
After you fall
No one can see past your hurt
No one cares if you go to hell
Everyone thinks your life is thier game
Hurt you people do it for fun
Every human being is the same
If they see you broke down they won
They like playing with your heart
And toying with your mind
It makes you crazy tares you apart
Hurting and taring at your self esteem
No one on this world is ever kind
They attack you themselves or in a team
No matter how hard you try
The tears come pouring down your face
Sometimes you want to give up and die
For them caring is not the case

Ever wonder where you life will lead
Or ever end
Ever think if God put out a deed
On your life and when it was time
An angel he would send
It seems like he cares
Ever think if he pretends
Ever wonder if he dares
Can't he see people taring at your soul
Does he try to hell out
Do you think he steals
Knowing this would be a goal
Is any of this for real
When you go to the golden doors
Will he make you pay a toll
Does he see all of this you can't deal
You just want a passion to gain
And trying not to feel left alone
Or to see that red stain
You don't want your heart to become stone
But people don't give what happens anymore
They make fun of the moment
I just can't break away
From all the negitive you store
You try your best to live another day
The hurt they sent
They can't wait til you hit the floor

You try to break away
But you failin trying
Telling yourself tomorrow will be a better day
But to your heart you know your lying
There is nothing people can say
Or to stop you or your soul from dying
Your so sick of the playing
Thinking it's best in taking the pill
You would get out of misery real fast
The hurt, hate, pain and suffering will always linger
Wondering if you should of done this in the past
When you're gone people will start pointing the finger
But your memory in their minds wont last
You just can't break away
You have no more to say
You try your hardest to forget the past
But will all the negitive memories
Your heart remains in a cast
As hard as you try
You still want to die
Because no one cares
To be my friend or believe in me
No one dares
In my eyes no one I fell wants to stare

Someones like I just want to be a part
For one day I don't want for anyone
To break my heart
I just want to feel like I belong
Have them like me from the start
To beable to put my head high
To beable to be strong
To have a bluer sky
To have not one thing go wrong
To this negitivity and pain i want to say good-bye
But I don't think I'll ever break away
This feeling I had for so long
Hopefully it will disappear someday
But for now I must stay
To prove deep down I am strong
In this world my soulmate is here
If I left to him and I it wouldn't be fair
If I left we would never get the chance
To get to know eachother
To experience the romance
To get to be in one anothers heart forever
To beable to hold eachother when we dance
I just can't break away
From my dear lover
