Poem -

I just miss the way..

One of my first poems I wrote ( I am dyslexic so ignore any mistakes)

I just miss the way..

I miss the way you made me smile,
Your laughter could be heard for miles.
The feelings you stirred, so deep and true,
A connection that I thought would always be with you.

But now you're gone, and the void is vast,
Deeper than any ocean, it seems to last.
The emotions buried within, they run so deep,
Like the lines on my arm, a secret I keep.

Yet through the pain, I find strength to rise,
To heal my wounds, to dry my eyes.
For within me lies a resilience so strong,
A spirit that sings its own triumphant song.

So I'll cherish the memories, both joy and sorrow,
And embrace each new day, hopeful for tomorrow.
Though you're no longer here, your impact remains,
In my heart, forever, your presence sustains. -Bella
