I Know To Navigate

I Know To Navigate

You successfully vanished clear from my vision and want
The wanting that levelled me deeply
The desire that told you of curses...
               curses that prevail in fairytales
                and things that lurk
even in the brightest day
Souls fall into disarray
                   when love is lost
The stories I told you weren't painted in white
I left them as black as night
Because you deserved
to know that I am not from light
I am human...
not without sin
Love, you left before I could find the farthest galaxy
and bring the stars to you
You flew to unmarked places
To unfathomable spaces
But, I will set out to find what I lost
 My heavenly angel
And I will navigate the far and beyond
To bring back what I lost
