I Love My Life

This is not quite how I thought it would be
With the hardships, upsets and strife
Nor did I expect the lack of sleep
Then comes around most nights

When you set out on this journey
That everyone calls "life"
You envisage a world of happiness
Of sunshine and of blithe

But although the world does not meet expectations
It does not mean the world is not right
For I love my life I have with you
and I will love it all my life
