I Love Today

I love today, and die the breath, the flex of God, a spirit kef.
And perish soul, a fatal cry, a life of gold, the wings to fly.
My breach and flame, a hidden port, a sea of waves, a
Phantom torque. And oaken cross, a nail to flesh, the laud
Of life, a living death. For soul to pain, to suffer wise, to
Wring the ghost, a pulse to die. And flare the breath, a wraith
Of dreams, the earth to quake, the ache of screams. But depth
The cave, an eerie calm, the force of faith, a mystic psalm.

I love today, and die the breath, the flex of God, a spirit kef.
And haven heart, a river whet, a fount of blood, a need to fret.
My cryptic flame, a hectic art, a pail of prayers, a holy spark.
And friction flare, a faint surprise, a rising wave, a source
Disguised. For sky to soul, a subtle ruse, a sheer deceit, a
Hellish muse.
