Poem -

fractured picture

there is the faintest change
in that slight smile
an alteration in the skin perhaps
or some trick of the eye played out by light
there is something not right
in those eyes
a fading in their colour
or is it all the mistake of the beholder
there is a thing so undefined
yet so utter in evidence
the picture I once looked upon
is no longer there

Hi Stefan, lovely lines. Little changes could mean a lot, little change could make something special go forever.
Great job. Welcome to cosmofunnel. Warm regards.
