I love you.

I'm knocking at your door.
But the silence emulates through these empty spaces.
I keep knocking.
But you never answer.
I love you.
I loved the way you hair hung over your shoulders.
I touched your rosy cheeks.
Your eyes would come alive and speak to me.
Your soft and tender voice taunted me.
I love you.
I'm knocking at your door.
The silence consumes me.
I'll knock until i'm tired.
I miss you.
I remember how you use to cry.
I could only hold you.
Those scars inside your heart.
They consumed you.
Your body use to speak a lifeless language.
I tried to take away the pain.
I love you.
I'm knocking at your door.
I can't stop myself.
I'm waiting for your voice.
I want to hear it one last time.
I remember that fateful day.
That I lost you.
You slipped through my fingers.
And I'll keep knocking.
Until I find you.Â

Hi George!! Welcome to Cosmo!! This is such an emotional and heart wrenching poem! I could feel the anguish through your words as you long to be with the one you love. This is very powerful and these lines in particular really got to me:
I look forward to reading more of your writing!! 5*s
