I love You My Dear

I remember how red your nose used to get when we went sleigh riding on the snow;
we always fell off laughing together. Those times I shall forever know.
We sat by a cozy warm fire and watched the flames burning high. We touched our glasses and
toasted: "To Romance, may it never die!"
But now that you've been taken from me I pray so hard you can hear, the words I never told you
then: "I love you I love you my dear!"
I see us dancing on the terrace as the ocean cools the sand. Your eyes are closed you smile gently; I clutch and squeeze you hand.
But now that you've been taken from me I pray so hard you can hear, the words I never told you
then: "I love you I love you my dear!"
So when you know you love somebody, you must tell them right there and then. Don't ever let
love pass you by; the chance may never come again! The chance may never come again!

Hello, Milton, and welcome to Cosmo.
Has anyone ever told you that you bear a striking resemblance to actor Tom Hanks?
Just curious...
Very true, the words you've penned here.
Not only do they seem to need to hear it, we should not have any difficulty whatsoever in telling those we truly love just how much they mean to us.
Life is too short to be proud, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
I used to love someone this much.
And although she is still very much alive, she's no longer around because I wan't able to give her the affection she so sorely needed.
My bad...
I am sorry for your loss, if this is indeed autobiographical.
Even so, nicely penned.
