Poem -

I loved too much

I loved too much
I walk alone
down the street so long
Weary as I can be
I loved too much,
too much is all
She walked away
from me

In moonlights glow
Alone I know
How lonely
life can be
I think of her
each waking day
But she does
not think of me

In dreams she comes
in sleep I see
Her calling love to me
But in the dark
A falling leaf
Brings sorrow
to my heart

Iin sunlight hours
Inside my heart
She is the sweetest flower
But in the rain
We always part
I'll be alone again  ,

I loved too much
Too much is all
And so she walked away
Now all  is left
A silent heart and
Another lonely day
