Poem -
I MET SOMEONE
I met someone
 for whom I really cared
we chatted for a time
backwards and forwards we shared
I started to wonder
 who they really were
I asked some questions
 and felt they were hurt
I felt the need to apologize
said I was sorry but didn’t realize
They hadn’t told me their real name
 oh what a pity oh what a shame
Why did they think they need to fool
 lies are such an awful tool
They left me feeling that I did not matter
left my heart a little shattered
I met someone
 for whom I really cared right
 now I wish
 we hadn’t shared!

OUCH LYN!!!!.......I'm so sorry to hear this my friend...........I do know how things can go when you meet someone on the internet...........it's so easy to lie about who you are........and once the lie begins you find you have to keep delivering more lies to cover for the initial lie.........I pray that you do not give up on Love completely..........not everyone is untruthful..........something tells me you WILL find what you are looking for............Love the attention to your rhyme scheme in this piece..........Love and Rockets!!..........T xo
