Poem -

I Muse a Northern Star—both Joy & Anger

I muse a northern star—unto tragedy. I fall apart, extract

Truth, and rebuild the fortress. A flame awakens soul.

Something is tugging heart—both joy and anger. A tight

Rope is home: she balances with grace. I pause, to

Witness the ballet, and she stares the mirror. Bless the voice,

A garden walk. For both joy and anger plagues the future.

Such laughter, the past; and such shock, the present; and

Such murky admiration. And never the love, a web of

Gadflies. Thus the pash, a cultivated reality; and thus the

Love, a flaming spirit. I muse a northern star—unto

Tragedy. I rise the spell, extract the curse, and rebuild a

Fortress. And such tension, a wave of ambiguity, where

Both joy and anger plagues the future. And such attraction,

Where sheer disgust intensifies the impact.
