I Must Love You

I must love you, lest I perish. But to love is such to die. Thus
Alive, I perish: I perish to die. Such is love, the ache of death.
And such is death, the ache of love. But teary skies, rain bliss.
Thus the heart, a fuse of light; and thus the soul, the life of
Love. But tender wounds, a florid pulse; and floral fields, a
Mystic kiss. Thus affliction, a flame of wire, the walk of thorns,
And deep desire. But heart to soul, my rapid joy, aloft the seas,
Of vapid cloy.
I must love you, lest I perish. But to love is such to die. Thus
Alive, I perish: I perish to die. Such is life, the gift of woe.
And such is love, a sudden flame. But fervent heart, a soaring
Flare; and torrid soul, a flood of stars. Thus infused, my breeding
Scar, adrift the fears, that float afar. And life to death, I vow to
Love, the breath of dreams, my bleeding dove.Â

Love is a paper-doll to spiritual, natural, happy, and tragic links. Another clever write, Glenn.
