Poem -

I Need A Doctor

You're so much;

I'm so little.

You're a bold and grandiose

hospital building

made from concrete-

and I just tripped

on a crack in the sidewalk;

I need you.

But you don't need me.

There'll always be others for you,

but not so much for me.

the future is unknown;

as blood drips down my legs

as tears flood the crack

and i realize

well that ones filled

how about the ones in my heart ?

But doctors can't fix that.

They can fix my legs

but they can't fix my soul

I think it was because

they took me to the wrong hospital-

away from you.
