I Ponder Love

I ponder love, afraid to breach, a sacral song, a sullen fleece.
My mystic wing, a weathered wave, a torrent storm, a
Spirit flame. The earth is sore, and surely slain, a claret sky,
Adrift the pain. And zenic flight, a fluid flare, a touch of
Heart, a mystic prayer. And zealot love, a light despair, a
Dellic tear, a torrid tare. My sore affect, a frightened dove,
The fey of flame, a privy love. But proper pang, the pleat of
Loss, a culture ache, a biblic cross.  Â
I ponder love, afraid to breach, a sacral song, a sullen fleece.
My skeptic friend, the soul’s aflame, a southern storm, a
Mystic rain. And light to heart, the lux of life, an ontic fact,
It wasn’t right. Thus aflare, a purple rose, a passion tree, a
Furnace prose. And proper pang, the pleat of loss, a culture
Ache, a biblic cross.Â
