Poem -

I Prefer To Walk...

Lady your driving is superb
But please! I don't want to be disturb
I can walk I am not lazy
I don't need you to drive me crazy

Friend you say you do things for fun
Sir I know you say your on a run
Im not going that direction
Nor does it have any attraction

It would be faster if we fly
But who wants crazy way up that high
Listen, somefolk just need a walk
Even if in all things we cant talk

Now and then I must be carried
I have no choice if I'm being berried
So no thanks, you can leave me be
Where your going, please don't carry me

I don't need to be pushed either
No! I don't need to get there faster
I don't need no one or the talk
If I'm going crazy let me walk

To go crazy, it takes no clout
I prefer to walk the scenic route
Now please, if you will excuse me
I choose to be very busy

By time I get there I'll be old
I admit, it may be a slow stroll
Why should i do what I'm being told
At least if I walk, I'm in control
