I Refuse . . . .. .

I Refuse . . . .. .

To be put down or depressed, can't stop me carrying on,
it's tough, sometimes you feel that you've had enough done;
as Barry Gibb said: 'I'm not done,' even tho' hearing gone,
think positive, we're still here until the next life comes along.

You wonder, what will you do in that next life - same again?
Surely not, the mistakes you made, giving some so much pain,
'irritrievable' comes to mind - that which can't be broughht back,
ironiic that after all that happenedĀ there's not so much I lack.

Of course I miss you and everything that we used to do,
I still hold conversation as tho' you're still here in blue,
and turquoise that coloured my life for every single day,
but one day we'll meet again, God said they'll be a way.

How strange that would be, my 'lighthouse' back in the play,
it's not a distant memory because it was only yesterday.Ā
