Poem -

I Saw My Body Lie Where I Died

I saw my body lie where I died.

My head away from where it layed.

My killers stayed to clean the mess.

The next comes in; she smiled no less.

Her joy appeared while facing death.

All she had was one choice left.

Take the mark or see the dark.

Denounce your faith or be erased.

Without a doubt she layed on back.

Her faith was strong she did not lack.

The sword arose for the attack.

The sword came down she breathed her last.

Her head rolled down; but her spirit rose up.

I'm still her now because I gave up.

I took the mark, but still see dark.

Denounced my faith, yet still erased.
