Poem -

I Should Have Been There

I should have been there sooner
I should have at least held her

She was abused
And It was because of you
She cried at night
And couldn't make it threw

I should have protected her
When her heart was sore

And now it's too late
And I hate myself every day

Because I didn't know
What she was going threw
And it was all because of you

She is broken inside
With nightmares at night

Because You weren't there
You didn't care

I was her brother
And I would have loved her

I should have been there
To comfort her pain
I should have fixed
Her heart of stains

If only I were there
I would have showed her I care
