I step not leap

*not really sure where I was going with this one but whatever

I step not leap
I don't dream I sleep
I don't continue blindly into the unknown
I don't just send it I stare at my phone
now some may say I'm just scared
but I prefer the term Prepared
I've never had crazy aspirations
I think I'm just saving myself from failure and heart deflations
It's not that I have them though I just only think so far ahead
I guess I just only care about not being dead
