Poem -

I think therefore I die

Avericious for Knowedge
but only able to retain
vague impressions of
thin residue of
effervescent traces;

No names or faces;

The memory of shadows of concepts:

Ideas that flow on like ripples in a pond,
Ripples that resist capture

Craving a whiff of the apple strudel
but losing its trail

Wholly invested in the cruise
then watching it set sail
from a shoreline that's not so sure

In fact it's already a cloud
that's not there anymore

The myst kisses my flesh
then dissipates
It's enough for me to be content
But not if they don't wait

Can't change pace to stay
in the race I started yesterday

One has to exhale to be
Or the oxygen kills you

Thank you Marion. Yes, love doesn't work if all we do is take.
