Poem -
I THOUGHT THEY WERE MY FRIEND
I thought they were my friend but they betrayed my trust
Even though I am hurting to forgive I must
Forgiveness will release me from the pain I feel
It is only then that I know I will heal
I know it will be awkward because they live so close
But I must walk in the ways of Jesus our Host
He is the one who showed us the way
He forgave when He was betrayed
I know if I love Him I too must forgive
If with myself I wish to live
I may need to hold His hand
But I know He will understand
I know He will take the pain I feel
Because I know His love is real
THANK YOU JESUS!
