I tried to avoid you
But something inside me 
Just couldn’t ignore you
This battle between my heart and mind
Driving me crazy, making me blind
I tried to leave these emotions behind
Looking for an exit I couldn’t find
And yet there you were, a handsome design
Oh the torture, to you I must resign.

I tried so hard not give in to this feeling
But the thought of your kiss every day seemed more appealing
You had no clue that my heart you were stealing
Because my feelings towards you I was constantly concealing

The thought of you was my daily battle
Relentlessly making my heart rattle
I tried to lock it and throw away the bottle
Now my heart is floating in the middle of the ocean without a paddle
