Poem -

I TRIED, DID YOU?

I TRIED, DID YOU?

Standing in line for hours...

It's been three days since you've had anything to eat...

The pains in your stomach hurts so bad you find it difficult to stand...

Finally, you get closer to the front and People begin to step out...

Come back tomorrow, the words your ears hear...

There's no more food today...

I look at you and you look at me...

With blame to one another through the silence of our words...

We can't ignore the hurt in each other's eyes...

Don't look at me, I tried...

I didn't vote for this...

Did you?

Hugs...

Hello Greg...

There's been movies and Documentaries based on this subject...

I put three days that being the best case scenario...

Some places it was once a week and you had to wait a week for a Tent...

There was a lot more to it but, I'm sure you probably knew that already...

Imagine if the time comes and say you saw it here...

They say the brightside is, everyone's skinny...

Smelly but, skinny...

I'm sure you don't smell good bathing in sewer water...

Hello Rose...

Will the World get any better?

Yes...

When it Blows up!!

?

People aren't going to be able to give what they don't have...

Rich people do what poor people don't...

Thank you for kind comment and support!

Hello Sparrowsong,

it's the reality; so sad but so true...
unequal distribution of wealth... rich getting richer; poor becoming poorer...
I experienced to queue to fill up water bottles a long time ago when a big fire burned the whole city where I lived. I was 10 years old, we lost our house ,but managed to salvaged our personal belongings... there was no water, no foods; everything was rationed ...
But that was different...
To see kids begging for food is really sad.
Thanks for sharing

Hello Leah...

Thank you for sharing your story...

How overwhelming and frightening for everyone there during that terrible time...

Definitely a Survival Story indeed...

There's a challenge going on here and many, many warnings...

New warnings everyday...

Things going on around the World and reaching places that always thought they were safe...

There may have been a false sense of security but, people are definitely waking up the hard way...

Not everyone's quite awake yet and when they are they think they're asleep and having a Nightmare...

After 3 or 4 minutes it's not a Dream...

Thank you for your comment and support!

Hugs...
