I WILL BE YOURS

Rockwell Wilder

My dearest love for whom my heart is a vessel for life and love,

I cannot be without you long, my hope is afire with wonder and speculation,

I dream of you daily, one way or another, daydreaming often of a better future.

I can see us happy together, and for this I am content.

I think of you often,

Although I have the mind in some ways of a child,

creatively speaking, a fertile mind,

I am without poise and the confluence of peace and purpose

through any onerous distress mind you,

I still find myself thankful for the things I have.

I grow upset at the things in this world, that their beauty does not last forever,

I grow hopeful Our love will never die, and that until the extinction or evolution of our species,

our descendants will be a legacy creating positivity everywhere they go.

I thank you for helping me in this life to know love well.

I thank you for giving me a chance to be yours.

I will not throw this privilege away.

I have a strong faith in us.

I will be strong,

I will be yours.

Thank you very much Rebecca, I am not that responsible for my emotions, it's mostly the natural response to the character of my girlfriend in that she's pretty amazing. She helps me to feel blessed a bit more every day. I noted that I am numb in the first post, and that's pretty true, love is warming me up to new ways of feeling connected to people in ways that I find rewarding. I think for the most part I always clicked well with people, but after the sickness and death of my father I just lost connection to all people for a while. I had a difficult relationship with my father, but it was mostly loving, our connection on balance. I get upset at times that people have to die, it is sort of a drag that we cannot live forever. Part of me wishes we could live forever. Love makes me feel like I am going to thrive indefinitely as long as I am with the person I care about. Everything is temporary though fundamentally, but maybe spiritually not. I feel spiritually connected to my woman... I feel very lucky and am glad to share my emotions about her with the world.
