I Will See You Again In Death

I Will See You Again In Death

I will see you again in Death
Close to the crumbled Kingdom,
As the wind moans with a mouthful of ashes
And oceans reek of radiated whales
I will see you again in Death
As the wind moans with a mouthful of ashes
There may be fallen angels at my side
And candelabras burning blood
And numbers painted in soot on my chest---
It could be 6 or it could be 7
I will see you again in Death
Running from a blue-black horse
When trumpets prevail over shrieks
And moonlight breaks like communion bread.

We enter life a curse of Eve
Skinned by sin and fashioned in doom,
While hearts pump a rhythmic evil,
And thoughts race to finish fast in mischief,
But I will see you again in Death
At the crossroads of narrow and wide,
Where good could only mean luck
And I on my destined fate do mount,
I will see you again in Death.
