Poem -

I Wish You Were Here...

Oh if you were here
I would dance a jig
I would lite the sky
For this day of joy

God would be greater
For He is my lift
My obedience
My reasons for life

Inside my giggle
The seeds to my smile
Yes, if you were here
Wings would brace the mile

For every past step
I have made till now
If you, Love, were here
No need for body bow

The forms in my prayers
Reverence is due
But those plights with pain
Wont threaten my through

That cooked dish or two
Those smiles here and there
Just knowing your mine
To lead anywhere

I wish you where here
Just to hold my hand
Being you for me
Just because you can
