I wouldn’t have you any other way
For my daughter who suffers with BPD
Although we don’t always see eye to eye
And life can get in the way,
I always know how much you try
To better yourself EVERYday!
Life is set to test us,
The ride is far from smooth,
We all have our ups and downs, No one more than you!
You have overcome more than most,
The strength and resilience you show is clear for all to see.
No mother could be prouder of her darling daughter
More than me.
Life’s lessons are never over,
Learn something new everyday! Continued growth is empowering,
Knowledge paves the way!
Always know I love you,
Your beauty shines from within. Your future will be awesome,
Just keep putting the effort in!
Look to the future,
Manifest your hearts desire, Worship the universe,

What a beautiful and brilliant poem for your daughter! There really is such a special bond between mother and daughter which you have captured well. There is also a special sort of bond between mother and son, of course, and while both bonds are heaven sent, they are different from each other. I love your poem, Linda, and you must be so proud of your daughter. BPD is a difficult illness to deal with at times. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for this x
Thank you so much for this comment. I only have the one child, but I can only imagine the special bond between mother and son is just as strong and beautiful. BPD is so hard, both for the one diagnosed and those who love that person. We are still learning. But I just want her to know I love her despite the battles she faces and that I will always do my best to support, encourage and understand. Thank you for your kind words xxx
