Poem -

I wrote a poem for you.

I wrote you a poem
Because I know how much you loved when I wrote
I wrote a poem on a napkin in the diner we always sat
Only I forgot it at the table
So now the waitress probably has it
It was January 30th 1984 when I did. I returned a while later after I had attendees your funeral
It was April 16th 1990
A women came up to me and asked for my initials
She told me she remembered me
She gave me a crumbled up coffee stained napkin on April 16th 1990 it was around 10:00 I went to visit your grave
And I painted the words on a rock
"For I love you with my only soul and that is why I must go"
Beneath my poem in a pink pen wrote
"And she loved you too. That's why she had to go"
On December 29th 1994
I married a women who visited your stone
And she wrote me notes
In pink pen
Always signed with
"I love you" ( I won't go)
