It was enough to see
taking flight
needing to escape
I dared to fly too near the sun
It swallowed me whole
It spat me out
A fool
Cause Iām Ā falling
I dared to fly too near the sun
I had to depart
I fell apart
Escaping Ā Crete
I donāt care
It was fun
I dared to fly too near the sun
And it won
