Iconoclasts: ( Inspired By Jean Cocteau's ' The Blood Of A Poet',1932)
"Every poem is a coat of arms. It must be deciphered." ( Jean Cocteau, 1932)

These surreal emblems:
an ox, a globe and a lyre,
surround old statues,
in the labyrinthine garden.
Beyond this garden
are fields filled with dry bones.
Iconoclasts who
destroy images to break
the potent spells of
purely ornamental dreams
In their attempt
to uncover remains of
life's essence, should be
careful that they don't become
worshipped themselves like
gods. Discerning creators
are wary of this
problem, as they make the choice
To suddenly crash
through mirrors to see what's
on the other side.
If they are strong, then they'll survive,
all the fiery trials.
Ace of Hearts or Ace of Spades?
a bet with one's mind.
As cold systems crush visions,
better just to be.
From the blood of poets,
new flowers arise,
that will bloom eternally.
Icons don't matter,
Only the power of words.
