IDEAS

Laying dormant 
Waiting on time
Time to create 
To express ones mind

An opportunity arises 
Idea is awaken 
It's my turn to demonstrate 
How to relate to frustration 

Let's try to be calm 
And rational 
Now that's an idea!
Or frustration could become 
Suicidal 

A sudden glance 
Just an act of changing directions 
Not thinking of making a connection 
But she's got my attention 

Our eyes collided 
She is like a bullseye in my view 
I like what I see
A fresh idea filters through 

I looked at her a second time 
She looks back with a slight stare 
Is it possible that we've got 
The same idea

I smile at her
She smiles back 
Two ideas are infused 
That which was asleep 
Is now a matter of fact.

Now that's an idea!
