Poem -

Ideas from the Silent

Dreams are thoughts; some untold

Others are strong, depend, bold

Mine, however, burn dim and cold

So I stay silent in a matter fore told

Chains of silver chains of steel

Dreams like mine seem oh so real

My thoughts and plans seem so surreal

That I can't contain the things I feel

To make matters worse, my time is ticking

ticking for the sellers and buyers who keep tricking

Those who have nothing, they're lips they're licking

Tasting a life where there's no more aching

As I sit here, in a rump worn chair

I can't help but stop and stare

At the mother who holds her child with care

The child doesn't know that the world is so unfair

Hey glad you liked the poem. There are moments where I'm just looking for phrases to rhyme with what I have and sometimes they are more powerful than I intend them to be. Sorry bout your gut lol.
