Poem -

If Given A Chance

If given a chance

I would dance with you

I would run life's worth

Whatever I do

To scale high mountains

Or valleys so low

To inquire there

Just how I may grow

I would touch a face

So soft and so rare

I would kiss a cheek

To make it real clear

Thunder and the rain

Sunshine or in pain

What I would not do

To be close to you

I would write your name

On or in my heart

And whisper gently

You're' life's sweetest part

I would catch your tears

Even if mine flowed

I would ransom you

From all life's forebode

To sit in the winds

With your hair blowing

Or to roam with you

Reaping from sowing

Find me just drifting

From these shores to shore

Search whatever

That path to your door
